Plymouth beats Volvo in 1 out of 1 road tests!

Sander’s volvo broke down this morning. I am only just now getting to work.

Some of the fun included:

Having mike d push the car through an intersection where it originally stalled.
Having mike d push the car as fast as he can while it’s in 2nd gear to pop the engine.
Having mike d push the car towards exit 9 on route 91 after the second break down.

There was probably close to a quarter mile of pushing involved.

To be fair, Sander knows his car better and was far better suited behind the wheel. And, besides, it’s funny watching a guy in a shirt and tie push a 1990 volvo all around CT.

I think what surprised me the most was the fact that that truck driver was not only pulled over, but out of his vehicle and ready to push in about 0.5 seconds after my car died. Like some sort of automotive rescue ninja.

Boy was I glad to have good bumpers. Getting pushed along at 40mph is crazy!

Mike’s car will never have problems. But when it does die, you’ll all hear about it on the news.

    This just in!

A 1991 Plymouth Acclaim just exploded on route 95 just outside Providence Rhode Island. The car erupted into flames and spun violantly into two trucks. One which happened to be filled with soft confection sugar, the other with red and blue artificial flavors. The heat combined with the out of control spinning and odd combination of ingredients produced tons of cotton candy which are now pouring down the streets of Providence.

Owner Mike D. told a CNN representative that the car simply collapsed, likely from exhaustion. Engineers at Plymouth spoke with amazement at learning that an Acclaim was still being used.
“A plymouth acclaim lasting for 15 years is unheard of! most failed within 4 years.”

The Federal Government has declared a state of emergency, and local officials are asking that all flags be lowered to half mast to honor the passing of this epic vehicle.

    Yo Mike.

Last night I had a dream that you were in jail. I was driving around on a motorcycle trying to find you.

    Love,
