Over the past month or so I have been slowly increasing my daily water intake and I’m excited to report that today while at work I have downed a full gallon of water.
I have visited the bathroom 5 times.

Over the past month or so I have been slowly increasing my daily water intake and I’m excited to report that today while at work I have downed a full gallon of water.
I have visited the bathroom 5 times.
1. Today, while at work, I drank NO water. Even at lunch. I didn’t drink anything, now that I think of it. I visited the bathroom once.
2. Isn’t the fact that you urinated 5 times in 9 hours a good indication that your body clearly doesn’t need (since it isn’t using) all that water?
It doesn’t mean that his body doesn’t want the water. His body is just flushing out the waste more often. It’d be like rarely washing your car (Sander’s hydration habit) and washing your car every hour (Mike D’s hydration habit).
Mike’s car is cleaner more often, even though it takes more water to do so. Sander’s car, while dirty longer, eventually gets cleaned over time.
And that is my analogy, from a guy who hasn’t taken a biology course in 10 years (so don’t believe a word of it).
I drink 2 to 3 gallons of water daily. Thats all I drink. No beer, soda, fruit juice or milk. 2 to 3 gallons of water. I’m proud.
Whew….that’s a lot of water to drink at work!
I usually put back a half-gallon at work, and a couple pints outside of work. I then supplement that with plenty of soda. Nectar of the gods!
