Carlos has got his Fluff on.

Mark: Carlos supposedly got the scar on his nose from being hit by a bat.
Jesse: That doesn’t suprise me.
Mark: Yeah, Carlos is a rough character.
Jesse: Though, he seems kind of fluffy. Do you know what I mean?
Mark: yeah, he does seem fluffy. but he’s definitely not fluffy.
Jesse: he’s got fluffy hair.
Mark: he grew up in the hood. he’s not fluffy underneath it all.
Jesse: well, it’s the kind of fluffy hair that you could hide a switchblade in.

Unrelated: last night I had my reoccurring nightmare of huge tidal-like waves and you (Mike D) were in it. We were trying to strategies how to survive these mountain high walls of water – do we a) dive into it before it breaks, b) tried to ride it in c) run.

Then we got distracted because of a dead whale. Clearly I have some serious stress in my life!

Last night I had a dream that some electronic device kept beeping, but I couldn’t find it. I didn’t recognize the beeping at all, which bothered me since I feel I have a pretty good handle on what noises my stuff makes.

I finally woke up and realized that I had left the window open, and the “beeping” was actually a bird chirping outside.

Last night I had a dream that my current roommates and myself lived in an EVEN MORE dilapidated house on a cliff on the coast of San Francisco. It was so dilapidated that I tried to open the door to the porch but it fell off its hinges into someone’s garden below. The floors were full of holes. But I was still interested in buying it for a cheap price and then fixing it up.

How is it y’all can remember your dreams, I can not. Am I a freak or are you?

This is the deal, Ben: not everyone remembers their dreams because sometimes you’re not aroused from REM sleep when most dreaming occurs. Alternatively, perhaps your brain (unlike the rest of us fools) realizes that dreams are mis-firings of synpses as memory is consolidated and so you forget them. That’s one theory.
