Atlanta or bust!

I’m back from Atlanta. The trip was good, I got to see Eric and Becky and the work stuff is coming along nicely as well.

Top 3 highlights of the sightseeing

Number Three: The Olympic Park
Not really all that cool. Which says a lot about Atlanta. But… it was a fun time. There were large pillars of light.

Number Two: CNN headquarters.
Suprisingly awesome, CNN headquarters is a stronghold like none I’ve ever seen. Three giant buildings were connected together via a huge atrium. It was amazing. Apparently Ted Turner is richer than God.

AND THE NUMBER ONE COOLEST THING IN ATLANTA: The Eternal Flame of the Confederacy
For year’s you’ve wondered “where is the eternal flame of the confederacy?” And now you know: Atlanta.

That’s right. If you go to the popular shopping area ‘atlanta underground’ there’s a single burning gas lamplight located at the far end. There’s even damage to the lightpole from when a cannon ball hit it during the Civil War. It burns quietly as a symbol of all the greatness of the confederacy. Go Confederates!

In other news, while I was in Georgia someone dropped the ball and forgot to vote for mike d on WPTopsite.

In still other news, I think I’m going to have to go back to Georgia on Sunday.

If you are going back to Georgia, you know what that means….more MS Paint masterpieces!

I’m still a little bitter that I didn’t get a request in on time.

Maybe if you weren’t out terrorizing the good people of Northboro, you skeezy skeezy man, you would have been able to get a suggestion in. Too bad he won’t be taking suggestions, due to the fact he will be drawing the epic battle of Kurt Vs. Godzilla.

Wait…Did you not go to the illustrious Coca-Cola Factory?!?! My family went to Atlanta a few years ago for my cousin’s wedding and there were just three things I remember. 1st was the CNN building of course even thouhg we only spent litterally like 2 minutes there it was just too cool. The second was the Underground mall. Not because it was ‘Underground’, but because no one was there (I still believe Atlanta is a Ghosttown), but that might have been due to the fact that the Braves were playing in the World Series when I was there. Which reminds me of Seth because dad was the team doctor for the Braves which was cool, but then I remember that the clearest memories of Seth are him in the Handicapp bathroom passed out. The last thing I remember was the Coca-Cola factory. They showed the history, all the types of soda they produce (which includes a great deal of Root Beers), and the Vault that stores their “SECRET FORMULA”….When you go back visit the Coca Cola Factory!!

All i remember from my visit there was that it was hot and the coke museum.
The best part was the room with soda from around the world!

Yo! I love Georgia, and Paul, I totally agree: it’s all about the coca cola factory. I mean, come on now, Coke? A factory? An international selection of flavored caffeinated beverages? A whole room of coke fountains???
