WOW! Your MSPaint drawing ability is unmatched! That drawing is awesome!!
This contest was MADE for you!! What’s the prize for winning??
Seriously though, what’s with the bear with his arms torn off?? Was it really
necessary for that person to make a drawing like that??
Actually the one with the arms torn off is, in my opinion, far suprior to my own. What creativity!! You can be sure that my next entry, regardless of the topic, will be much more gory.
As for the prize, (one month of accolades) I asked not to be included, as I consider myself a near-professional. While it might be more fair than, say, submitting a stenciled pumpkin into a pumpkin carving contest, I feel it’s important to let others share the glory.
I worked hard on that pumpkin. Just because I used a stencil doesn’t mean that
I didn’t put a lot of thought, time, and effort into it.
You’re right. I apologize for my low blow. The hours you spent picking out your stencil at Wal*Mart were probably equivalent to the hrs I spent planning and making sketches. oooh… ZING!
I’m not bitter. just horribly irreversibly disappointed. Sarcasm is my way of ‘letting it go’
i don’t know… while yours is practically a photograph, #5 is just plain amazing. That bear can play the drums WHILE on skates.
now if yours took that fish and bopped the silly hat and wig off of #5, then yours would clearly win the talent competition.
I feel compelled to explain nancy’s submission, the one with the arms torn off. I’ll use her words:
“Before you look at it, I want to explain. After I drew my bear, I realized I hadn’t given him any front legs and I didn’t know where to put them. So, I placed them next to him and bloodied them in an attempt to make them look like they had been torn off in a polar bear fight. Them polar bears are tough.”
I think the best part of that drawing is the innocence and confusion implied merely by the angle of his head.
Yeah, so far I’m thinking Nancy’s is truly the best. Sorry Mike!

Triple Lutz THAT you crazy drum playing dance bear.
OMG, that is truely awesome! I’m so happy I decided to read this slew of comments. Sometimes the funniest things in blogs get burried in the comments. I request that you resubmit your image under a pen name.
Man-alive Mike — that’s a great polar bear composite! And thanks, Hadas, for explaining my dismembered bear.
Thanks Nancy! I also love that you used the phrase “man-alive.” I have to use that phrase more often.
