Score one for the good guys!

The house contract went through! I am now the proud co-owner of a house in Meriden CT… that is, once the inspection is completed and the title transfered.

check it.
the future residence of mike d.

Awesome things:
1. two of the bedrooms have funky secret side rooms attached
2. the garage is HUGE
3. (assuming no delays) we move in on Dec 15th.
4. the fabled ‘rock and roll’ room is only 30 days away from becoming a reality.

excitement abounds

Wow Pam. only you would jump right to the topic of ‘party’. It probably won’t be for awhile, simply because we have no furniture or anything. I’m thinking a potential january or february date, though at this point it’s still too early to tell.

I don’t think my question was that out of line, in your proceeding entry you mentioned the party, I was just following up on it!! :)

“…2. having a freakin’ huge house warming party…”

And, yes I understand that it needs to be furnished first! :)

I think the lack of furniture is an asset…

lots of space to spread out… you’ll have a kitchen so the food will have a home and really, what else is needed.

Will “Sammy G and the Mike & Ike’s” be performing at this party??

That green thing in front of the garage is a piece of trash that has since been removed.

As for Sammy G and the Mike’n’ikes I fear the likelihood of a performance at housewarmingparty2005 is slim. Sammy G moved to California and Jon Abad moved to Texas. Essentially, we’ve seperated ourselves by the greatest distance possible within the continental U.S. of A.

however, perhaps I’ll try and ressurect So Tired! for a monumental performance.

Your new house looks fab! I can’t wait to see it. It is exciting to see a place that will soon come to know so many fun and happy times. Congratulations!

Am I the only one to notice that MikeD, ARch nemesis and foiler of the Yellow House, now himself lives in a Yellow House? There has to be some sort of sign that was in the Stars or the tea leaves. Are we now supposed to pull pranks on the two of them. I think so.

If there was only going to be one more So Tired show EVER, it would have to be at your housewarming party. Oh, and I won’t sing Britney Spears, EVER.

yeah, it’s almost 2000 sq. ft which translates to: Big.

Kurt, very perceptive. It is my belief that much like the atlantic to the early settlers, my location in relation to all of you guys will be a heavy deterrent for pranks.
