pumpkin carving contest

Well, my workplace is having a pumpkin carving contest. As usual, when I decide to participate in an event, I usually go overboard. So I plan on making my pumpkin overly exciting.

I expect the competition to be tight, so I’ve already purchased my trial carving pumpkin. I’m going to try and document my progress online. expect wonders.

    What’s Pam got to lose?
    Nothing!

and that’s why you should fear her!

What do the mystical orbs say!?!?

(the orbs are mystical. They were received when I traded in my 500 video game tickets. I left them (there are two: Righty and lefty) in Jon’s car before he drove to Texas. Because of my simple blunder, he now has the power to predict the future mystically. and I can only guess)

Mystical orbs, oh Mystical orbs bestow your wisdom upon us. (click) will my pumpkin reign supreme?

I asked “Mystical Orbs oh Mystical Orbs, Will MikeD be victorious in the company pumpkin carving contest?”
and “Mystical Orbs oh Mystical Orbs, Will Pam’s pumpkin kick MikeD’s pumpkin’s butt?”

    This is what they said:
Question 1: Lefty “The Stars Say No” and Righty “Yes”
Question 2: Lefty “You Can Count On It” and Righty “So It Shall Be”

    Wow.

    Wow.

Since the Mystical Orbs are both mystical and mysterious, their messages must be decyphered and this is what i think they mean:

While MikeD’s pumpkin will be overly exciting, it will -not- be victorious in the competition and Pam’s will be better received.

If you need more clarifications, I can ask the mystical orbs.

I interpret your answers as follows: Firstly, the stars are often wrong. If you recall, the stars predicted that Jon would get into a fatal car accident on his drive home to Texas. The stars were wrong. I think that ‘yes’ my pumpkin will reign supreme. HOWEVER! I think Pam’s pumpkin will be more robust. So if it were thrown at my pumpkin it would in fact destroy my fragile overly elaborate pumpkin. Her pumpkin would defeat mine in an all out brawl. you could “count on it.” But mine will win the grand prize.
