The time was right at Darcy’s party for a new Kung Fu Party Trick. This particular one has been in the planning for awhile: kick a marshmallow into a friend’s mouth.
Amazingly, we completed it on the first try. I’m stunned by this. Special thanks to Irene for throwing, Chris for catching, and Laura for camera-ing.
Also, props to Alicia for the sick Kung Fu fighting musical beats.
I roll my eyes at Sir David King’s arguments in this video but perhaps I’m biased because I have a man-crush on Brian Cox.
Last night, we had some decent winds from Tropical Storm Hanna, so my friend Jonathan and I used an old sailboat mast, trash bag, and some scraps of wood to build this great gaff-rigged, sail-powered skateboard. We took it to the beach and ripped around the parking lot and down the street.
Looking back at the windspeed graphs on iWindsurf.com, it was blowing 40mph and gusting to 48 at the time this was filmed!
We only got one video because it was raining like crazy and we didn’t want to get the camera wet.
Action Figure Slow Motion Punches video.
This is really great – the lead up, the action itself, and the music – all great.
While this video isn’t of as high a quality as the first, it’s still kind of entertaining. My project partners and I made this video to try and portray the Fatalist perspective. The audio isn’t very good because of the karaoke version of comfortably numb that we downloaded. Also… the second half of the clip isn’t well matched between audio and visual… and the video was recorded with the backlight on. But whatever. It’s still kind of funny.
I’m taking a class which requires a unique presentation of class concepts. My group put together a good collection of music videos with new lyrics.
This is “heard it through the grapevine” with modified lyrics to represent the ‘gossip’ style person in the office. Enjoy!
