Public Bathrooms

The innovators behind the automatic toilet flush and the automatic sink faucet should really collaborate. It seems that the toilets only flush while sitting and that the sink faucet won’t turn on while my hands are under the faucet.

If these technologies were to switch their strategies I suspect mankind could enjoy really awesome hands-free public bathroom experiences.

I’ll add another element to your observation – what’s with the overly-aggressive automatic soap dispensers! Many times I find myself attempting to rinse the soap off my hands, only to be sprayed unceremoniously by the dispenser yet again. This can repeat several times during the process. Perhaps I am overly flamboyant with my rinsing, enough to trigger the dispenser, but I believe that others must have experienced this phenomenon….
