I just learned about Muphry’s law. It’s pretty awesome, and very often true.

That’s funny!

Are you serious about having just learned about it?

yup, I think I found out about it on metafilter.com

As a writer of a blog who gets castrated if a blatant spelling or grammatical error slips through, it’s especially awesome.

I grew up with Murphy’s Law, but it applied to more than just writing.

I could say something about that sentence of yours, but I’d just prove your point. :)

Oh, I grew up with Murphy’s law too and have known about it for awhile, but I really like the specific MuphRy’s modification mentioned in that article.

I learned about this on the Freakonimics blog recently, it is a pretty hilarious blunder in a public forum: http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/15/pasties-pasties-everywhere/
