I just searched for “mike d” on Google, and rather than being in position 6 or 7 (as has been the case for many months), this web site is instead on PAGE 6 or 7.

What’s that all about?

I suspect the reason for this is the advertising that has been on the website for the last two months (if you haven’t noticed, scroll all the way to the bottom of this page). I have yet to decide if the $25/month is worth the loss of Google Power.

Side note (kind of ironic): Sometimes I miss posts from Shaun McQuaid because I never really check my own website. Usually I get e-mail updates telling me of comments and such, so my only time when I’m actually looking at the site itself is when I’m checking formatting of posts. Then occasionally my eye will glimpse a post and I’ll think ‘weird. I don’t remember writing that’ and then BANG it’ll be a SMcQuaid, Schenk, or Abad post. Isn’t that weird?
