I just got back from Oregon. There was a low tide at sunset on a perfect, cloudless day. We went to Haystack rock (Goonies) to watch it and take some pictures. When we arrived, there was a photo club from Seattle setting up thousands of dollars worth of equipment. They were doing tiny adjustments and pushing each other out of the way for the best shots. I walked up with my cheap digital camera and took a few photos. When I looked at the pictures I took, they were amazing.
