Create little “caves” where you can shoot in discs and have then bounce around and get multiple hits. Also, get a middle-to-big disc near the bottom that you can shoot and deflect as they head upward. Those discs at the bottom also help prevent errant shots from making it all the way back down.

Yeah, I got to 19 yesterday, with five more 1’s out there, most of them easily achieveable. And then I had an errant click and it all came down. Was 24+ possible. Yup, it was right there, and I lost concentration and blew it!

This week’s skyline is taking a backseat to this game.

29! I missed a fairly routine shot at the end. I could have been in the mid 30’s on this one, had I kept making shots. I can’t complain, though.

When I had tied Mike D’s 24, I took an easy, straight aim right at a “1″, just so that I was guaranteed the new top score. It wasn’t the most strategic shot at the time (it ended up working ok), but I didn’t want to try something harder and screw it up and end with a tie.

I also left 14 discs on the playing field, 3 of them with 1 hit to go.

GODDAMNIT I thought I’d gotten away from this game but now I’m playing it again. High score still a pathetic 18 but I am improving (oh so slowly).

Just in case you started to get close, my top score is now 44.

Darn, I did start to get close. I was up to 31 at one point. This is like the new Tetris. It requires a lot of patience just to build everything up. It’s like I’m a zombie through the game until I get to 20.

I love this game because it’s addictive and quite original, and hate it because it’s so slow and one mistake can cause GAME OVER and you’re back to square one.

Either of you two want to post a mid- or end-game screenshot? It would be quite interesting to us sub-20ers.
