Bread machines, actually are a funny thing. We use our ALL THE TIME. It's awesomely easy for pizza dough, bread dough... in fact, we usually set the machine on dough and don't cook it in the machine so that we can shape it into fancy looking breads, or rolls, or whatever we like. However to the point of it staying behind when you eventually move, consider when that time comes, you may get 2 appliances, or the new house may include a dishwasher pre-installed.
