In the second picture I would like to challenge the comment that it is an alligator clip. I would classify a clip as "Alligator" if it had teeth...it doesn't look to me like it has teeth.

Keep in mind that wind speed and direction should always be taken into account when planning a wedding.

An interesting question, Kurt, obviously showing your layman's understanding of the subtle and intricate wind patterns. Saturday was scheduled because it was a thermal day, meaning that there was no wind in the morning (hence 5 AM) and increasing winds beginning around 2pm. The only way to get wind that early in the morning is if a large front is coming through, and then winds are usually out of the north and gusty anyways.

My favorite thing about all of this is... they wrote their secret wedding plans on a calendar hanging in their house.
