Yesterday I bought a toilet.
Home Depot was mere minutes away from closing for the evening and they only had one register open. The cashier was having difficulties and it looked like it could take awhile.
So I pushed my cart over to the ’self service’ registers, picked up the toilet, held it at arms length, and swung it back and forth over the scanner until I heard the beep of recognition.
As I placed the toilet onto the items shelf, employees shouted from behind me
“Whoa! you did it!”
“You’re the man!”
It was magnificent.
They don’t have those scanner guns in the self service lane?
I did not notice any. Though until your comment, I didn’t know they existed.
Are you kidding? You trust the unwashed masses with a scanner gun? With a laser in it? I’ve never seen any sort of self-checkout thing with a scanner gun.
i trust the unwashed with class 1 lasers that couldn’t hurt a fly.
I’ve also never seen a self-checkout thing with a scanner gun but i wouldn’t have thought home depot as a place with a self-checkout thing exactly because of what mr.didonato did.
why on earth did you buy a toilet? we already have more toilets than needed in the house…
we installed a toilet where the drum set seat is. That way, if you were jamming on the drums, your need of the facilities wouldn’t limit your rocking.

I just want clarification…. you bought a toilet, but your not planning to use it as a toilet? Instead your using it as a throne for a drum set?
What can I say? Sometimes being male is awesome because we come up with killer ideas.
