Why strange?
Let’s look at the normal magazines that arrive for me at work:
Manufacturing Engineering
Machine Design
Advanced Imaging
New Equipment Digest
Hydraulics and Pneumatics
You can see why an L.L. Bean catalog would be out of place.
Maybe engineers are a big demographic for buying LL Bean stuff.
Perhaps there is a connection that you have missed.
I love L. L. Bean but getting their catolgues is annoying. Tom gets them at work b/c I ship packages there. We get them at home b/c it’s my mailing address. I order everything from them online and never look at the catolgues. I’ve never tried to cancel them though, I wonder if it could… Basically though straight to the recyling bin.
