Produce Productions

January 5th, 2007 by mike d. in VIDEO, Features, House of Rock, RockStar

Oh yeah!

Check out the newest House of Rock video out on Vimeo by clicking on the video below. I decided to use Vimeo instead of YouTube… because YouTube can’t freakin’ get the sound synced.

Produce Production on Vimeo

if the video isn’t working for you, try clicking this.

If you have windows media player and Vimeo isn’t working for you, I highly recommend you download the original and watch it. It’s really important that the sound and the video be synced for the full effect. In addition to downloading it to your local computer, I would recommend watching it as a relatively small video instead of full screen so that your computer can handle the seriousness of the rock.

Check out the real deal, here.

videos on Miked.com have really come down from where they used to reign supreme. Now I don’t ever laugh at the video, now I just sigh at the people goofing off in them….tsk tsk tsk

WHAT!?!? THIS VIDEO IS GENIUS!

Jesse is PLAYING the drums on and with VEGETABLES and FRUIT!

Tonight, you’ll get to see the behind the scenes video that shows me in the background making all the percussive beats.

I saw the vegetables and had this stop motion animation in mind and it was much awesomer than percussive vegetables…

So… my mind wasn’t blown.

What DOES interest me though, is the possibility of multi-camera videos in the future.

On the one hand, you’re PLAYING THE DRUMS with VEGETABLES AND FRUIT. On the other hand, you’re playing the drums with vegetables and fruit. I can’t decide if it’s awesome or ridiculous.

I’m so disappointed in all of you. Clementine shakers, broccoli bells and red delicious tom-toms are just plain good times. I think perhaps we rocked you so hard you’re still in shock.

Thanks for using Vimeo! You’re the type of creative person we love to have on the site. This was a solid jam session (and also nutritious)!

As I’ve mentioned before, I can’t watch videos. But I applaud the use of nutritious and economically non-threatening instruments.

There’s actually a symphony in Europe somewhere that uses all natural foods for their instruments. So I guess that makes Mike D and Jesse quite cultured really. Just add some classical to your set and you can tour the country.
