I think you're confusing "Morlock" with "Murdock" and he wasn't so much a futuristic cave man as an intrigal part of the A-Team.

Skyline is the capitol in Montpelier, Vermont.
It definitely looked like a state capitol building, so naturally, I started at with Alabama and worked my way alphabetically (skipping Kansas.. we have a copper dome). As I was going through the alphabet, I was getting a little worried, so I also checked out the dome on Notre Dame's campus... but eventually, I got to the V's and found a match.

As for the satellite photo... I think Mike D is trying to put the smack down. I hope to rock it!

[Update] Ok, that wasn't as hard as I thought. And nowhere near as random as it could have been. I've always wanted to visit this place. In fact, I've read a book (titled Aku Aku) about the indigenous peoples of this island, and it was a really fascinating read.

For example... most people know about the famous things the indigenous peoples did... but... there used to be two feuding tribes on the island, and they each dug extensive cave systems to keep the others out!
