September 1st, 2006 by mike d. in Features, MSPaintContest

REVENGE (of the trees)!

The challenge was such:
Draw your best representation of the phrase REVENGE OF THE TREES using only MSPaint.
Thirteen people from across the globe answered the challenge. We had participants from over 8 different US States, both hemispheres of the globe, and from five different time zones.

The votes have been tallied and we have winners! (drum roll)

First place goes to my very own SWINGSET TOSS (#11)! Woo!

Holy smoke! That is the most awesome MSPaint drawing ever! I don’t think I could ever draw anything like that, but I could maybe write a background story for it. Maybe with a lot of practice, when I write my children’s book series, I could illustrate it with MSPaint. Good job, Mike.

Thanks Mike. Yeah I looked at your image and I was like “WOW!” the shading is amazing and I think it has the right color choice too. It’s sort of like a tornado with the fade-to-black shading. Very nice work. Kudos!

Yes Mike, the color choice is superb! Masterful! Especially the tree itself. However did you decide on that beautiful shade of bold burgundy?
