MSPaint Contest!
Welcome to the eleventh edition of the mike d. MSPaint contest. We only have four contributors this week. I think their drawings will entertain you.
The challenge was to draw a picture of a robot at a playground. Our contestants went two distinct routes on this one. Two of the drawings below show robots playing at playgrounds, and two of the drawings show robots destroying playgrounds. One contestant actually produced two drawings, but specified which he wanted to be the true entry.
So let’s get started.
Our first robot, located HERE is a robot at play. This is the only drawing to depict a famous robot.
Our second robot, located HERE is destroying. Please note that this robot’s left foot is a tank.
Robot number three, located HERE, is a robot at play. This artist drew a second picture, but asked that his first drawing be the one considered in the contest. The second picture is here.
And finally Robot number four, located HERE, shows a robot ready to destroy all sorts of tom-foolery.

I vote number 3, and I would like to know why the robot looks so sad.
I would also like to know how in the world you guys do that. I can’t draw anything in Paint.
Johnny 5 is great (although the perspective is a bit suspect), but I my vote goes to Robot #3. He’s so cute! The flaming-death-robot is cool too.

Too bad Robot #3’s artist only entered the sad robot, the other one was way better in my opinion. #3 looks like an old Jets to Brazil album cover.

Ah, sorry, that went completely over my head.
I liked #3’s second picture. The first one looks more like one of the BlockHeads that was just outsmarted again by Gumby,Pokey,Goo, and Prickle.
But my vote goes to Johnny 5…cause he’s alive (#1)
It also looks like Johnny5 could be playing on those monkey bars just down the road from where Spider man had problems hailing a cab. Why didn’t Spidey ask Johnny for help? We’ll never know.

Robot #1) He’s just hanging there. He’s not even “playing.” I think the perspective is fine. But, dude, he’s just hanging there. That’s pretty lame.
Robot #2) WMD’s on 3 of 4 limbs… where’s the destruction on the 4th? There’s also added destruction from the the smog-producing brain (either that or he’s simultaneously thinking two empty thoughts). How to beat this guy: shoot a missile at the ‘love’ button to turn this playground into a rave.
Robot #3) Dude, this guy isn’t “playing” either. He’s just moping on the swing. Either he just got dumped by a Commodore 64, or he’s Jed the Humanoid(anybody getting the reference?). It’s the Friday before Memorial Day… I don’t want to be depressed.
Robot #4) I like the eyebrows. And the satellite dish. Maybe it’s to counter Super Patrick with the GPS in his inner ear? I also like the font. The merry-go-round reminds me of birthday cake and the slide reminds me of a dinosaur.
My vote would go to #3 (it’s the best one), but I’m supposed to vote for the one that “rocks the hardest”. This one is definitely not rocking hard (some say “cute”, which I don’t think describes it either). My vote would then go to #2, which is rocking it pretty hard-core, but I think that’s Sander’s, and the consensus is that he’s a moron, so I can’t vote for that. I can’t vote for #1, just because as Jay- Z would say, the “whole perspective is whack.” Which means that I vote for #4. Which, to be honest, it rocking it pretty unsoftly. I mean, look at that face. It’s like Tom Cruise’s stare in M:i:III.

You like it because I’m voting for you. And I had a hard time voting for you because you said that my perspective was suspect. ;-)
But not voting for you meant that I couldn’t vote for any of them!
(I’m assuming that yours is #4, that Mike D’s is #3, that #2 is Sander’s, and that #1 is, well, I don’t know if I can dilvulge that information.)

i vote for 3. robot 3 looks like of sad, and he could use the confidence boost.
I like number 3, but it doesn’t really look sad to me. It just has this anime appearance to it, and his style with the paintbrush is really neat!
