It doesn't seem cost effective to put money into a dying cause. if you have to put him down, put him down on your terms. Plus if you can learn a little bit about car work, it might save you money down the road. If you've ever wanted to know how to change a carbeurator (sp?) now might be the time. And if Donald was such a good pet he would have picked up your traits, so he would say "Learn from my passing to save money in the future."
