it’s now a tradition

January 6th, 2006 by mike d. in Food, House of Rock

currently eating: granola bar

Last year it was a Dyson. This year, it’s a KITCHEN AID.

That’s right folks, I have started a tradition of bringing in the new year with a beautiful new appliance. I’m excited for Baking in 2006. Yes, food handling will reach new levels of convenience with this 325 watt beast of a mixer.

Multiple Speeds!
Unique Mixing Action!

The House of Rock just got a little more awesome.

And don’t worry, this won’t antiquate our other mixer.

Awesome mixer! I am so jealous! Are you going to paint flames on it like Alton Brown did to his? I wanted to do this to my mom’s, but she veto’d the idea.

Does your mixer have a PTO on the front? My mom’s does. You can run generators, winches, cement mixers, and all sorts of awesome from it.

(Actually, I think you’re pretty much limited to a pasta press…)

meat Grinder, sausage maker, lettuce/cheese shredder. All sorts of things can be attached to the front. I personally love the sausage maker and cheese grinder.

I used your mixer as the basis of an icon in the software I develop at work (Well, I do very little development, but I do draw all the icons!!). The icon is for our “Post-Processing Assistant”. Marketing will surely nix it, but I think it looks pretty sweet.

If only I could do <img> tags!

Img tags are not allowed.
I’ve looked into adding them and its more pain to manage it than its worth.
Links are good enough for government work.
