#35: Where does Pork come from?

The Question

Kurt vs. Glenn Says:

Is a porkus real?

The Answer

Well, how about a little logic?

Fact: Ham and bacon come from pigs (unless it is turkey bacon, which is lovely as well).
Fact: Ham and bacon taste a little similar.
Fact: Pork is COMPLETELY different tasting than ham or bacon.
Fact: Pork looks NOTHING like ham or bacon.

Draw your own conclusion. Mine is that pork does NOT come from a pig, but instead from another animal, the PORKUS.

The porkus is a seagoing carnivorous mammal, much like a dolphin but with sharp pointy teeth, beady eyes, and a vicious temperment. It kills its prey in a manner similar to that of the alligator – the Porkus Death Roll. It grabs its prey in its teeth and rolls it under the water until it drowns.

Also, why else would my company have a server that was recently named “porkus”?

Oh but it is! Especially when prepared for you by a friend’s parent in massive quantities.

Oh but it isn’t! I am suprised more people haven’t rallied to agree that Bacon is the only Bacon worth eating. None of this pansy Turkey stuff. I am a Bacon purist.

hmm. I’m torn. I personally don’t think Turkey bacon is lovely. But Shaun McQuaid cannot tell a lie. BUT, Mykal is the goddess of all things culinary.

    I’m torn.

It might help if you experienced turkey bacon prepared by Eric’s father. That’s where the basis for my opinion was founded. The man is a genius with the stuff.
