This car is outta control.
I finally got Connecticut plates onto my car. It took well over 12 months for this to occur and while I’m a bit disappointed to see 9 9 1 - 9 A T go, I’m excited to welcome 4 0 9 - T Y K . the new plates look good on the car. I think the crisp newness of the plates matches the hottness that radiates from the rest of the body.
Despite all this, I think I’ve determined what the “big sound” is. Every once in awhile, when I start from stopped, there’s this giant Ka-CHUNK. And I think it’s the transmission. I’m not sure exactly what I should do about this. I’ll probably mull over it for awhile, and then decide to just run the car to it’s demise.
