Dream
Last night I had a dream that my co-worker Eric’s (fictional character) birthday was fast approaching, and the company sent me out to get him a gift. Accompanying me was Antonio Banderes, Angelina Jolie, Jake Lloyd (episode 1 anakin), and some younger famous female who I can’t remember. maybe Dakota Fanning?
Antonio and Angelina kept pushing me to buy Eric a giant toy gun, but I didn’t think that was work appropriate, so I was encouraging the model car.
At one point I remember complimenting Antonio on his excellent singing in Evita. At another point I remember telling Jake Lloyd that he wasn’t great in star wars episode one, but maybe if he keeps acting he’ll do better.
At the end of the dream, we were all getting into our respective cars, and, figuring I wouldn’t have another such opportunity, I asked Angelina out on a date. And with that, my dream ended.
What kind of car were you driving? Was Jake Lloyd driving a Pod-Racer?
Excellent question Kurt. Actually, Jake and the young actress were both carpooling with Angelina who was driving what looked like a Focus.
Antonio wasn’t there for that part of the dream presumably because he was at another part of the parking lot. He was probably driving the batmobile. I was, of course, driving the acclaim to fame.
I think it would have been more exciting had Jake been driving a pod racer and if Angelina had been carpooling with me. She surely would have been wooed by the sweet upholstery of the acclaim.
Not to mention the sweet melodies coming from the radio. Do sweet melodies come out of the radio anymore? Last time I was in it, it was hissing, and was only playing that tape you had in there.
Heh. Well, so much for your much-vaunted Jill-loyalty in your dreams. I seem to remember a past dream in which you turned down the ladies and then tried to get points for it. Well, this ain’t gonna do you any favors, man…
Just a note here, my friend. You diss young Jake for his acting, but he totally got to mack-it with Natalie. Let’s not forget this.
And he got to hang with the Governator in ‘jingle all the way’.
If I may add my two cents:
Clearly this dream is something emerging from your subconcious. Two sex symbols urging you to buy the “big gun”, though you do mention it is a toy. Hrm, also, they didn’t want you to “use” the big gun, just get it for another man. Whoah, as your roommate, I don’t think I like where this analysis is going. Besides, you did ask the hottie on a date, thus redeeming your manly prowess.
