the weekend

my parents came to CT this past weekend. They both tried rock climbing, and I’m proud to say that they did quite well. Both my mother and father seemed to feel comfortable on the walls and completed a few exciting climbs.

Talk about cool parents.

There were some other people at the gym who couldn’t help but comment on how they wish that their parents would come climbing with them. So, once again, my parents have proved their coolness. 4 stars mom and dad! 4 stars!

Whats going on in your office right now MikeD? We were discussing some sort of disorder. Now it is quiet and we shut the door. Something about sparrows attacking us through the door. I don’t really know. My lab usually gets Pigeon Fights, but whatever.

The greatest disorders here usually go unnoticed. There’s a stray cat that prowls about our facility slowly lurking and trying to kill small defenseless animals. Occasionally, I will spot a small lifeless body torn to shreds by the feline predator but this is the only evidence that such life and death battles take place on our property.

This is true, Theresa came to CT as well. In fact, she did an excellent job rock climbing.

Wow, talk about damning with faint praise. An entire paragraph about Mum and Dad and only a paltry sentence or two for big Sis?

Theresa, never fear that your supporters will come to your defense whenever the balance is remiss!

I’d like to put forth that part of the reason my parents got a paragraph is that it was mothers day this weekend. And I wanted to show homage to my mom, who has contributed so greatly to my life.

Theresa, you too have been a wonderful influence, and I loved that you were able to visit and play the drums for me and jesse.

Well, Kurt, here in my office my coworker is singing that annoying Gwen Stefani song loudly to annoy me, and I’m pretending to work.

“This shit is bananas, BEE AYE EN AYE EN AYE ESS”

It’s all good. As the middle child, I’m used to being ignored.

I did have a great time though. I love the drums! And rock climbling…well, it rocks.

    Shaun you are my hero.

Agree with MikeD. Gwen Stefani is never annoying. Neither is a man named Kurt, spelled the correct way, singing any highly attractive female pop singers, song. Example: SammyG and the Mike & Ikes at AJ’s Birthday Party, “Say My Name” Not annoying at all. Not one bit.
