Currently eating…

January 20th, 2005 by mike d. in The Page

currently eating: carrots, and flavored crackers with sharp cheddar.

Ever notice the “Current Music” “current mood” things on many liverjournals/blogs? Well, I think I’m going to start including a “currently eating” start to my entries simply because most of the time when I’m updating, I’m also taking a snack break. And what better way to share my love of food with the world than to tell everyone exactly what I’m eating.

Chicken Ramen noodles and a bottle of Kool-Aid.

That is the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard.

Somehow I knew you’d be the first to respond to this entry.

I only want to see currently eating if it’s something impressive. Like Souffle or something. Or interesting like Jamica flavored Kool-aid (have you had this? It is actually quite good.)

ahh, if only I could be so awesome. Perhaps the ‘currently eating’ feature will evolve into a show of sophistication, for now I fear you’ll have to deal with a lot of peanut butter sandwiches and fruit of all types. I will make an effort to explore the more unusual types of foods during my website updates. And no, I haven’t tried Jamaica Kool Aid… what flavor is it?

Jamaica kool-aid is JAMAICA flavoured! What is this so called “jamaica” flavor, I do not know. Tom seems to like it quite a lot though. Now that I think about it though I think we’ve ever only seen it at Shaw’s, so maybe you can’t get it down in CT.

Jamaica flavor is hibiscus flavoring (not sure how much real hibiscus is in the Kool Aid)–it’s really big in Mexico, from what I hear, and they drink it like we drink iced tea—the flavor makes me think of tamarind and mango.
