Now, I’ve been known to avoid certain appliances in the past. specifically: the Iron.
However, lately my clothes have been especially prone to wrinkles, so I decided to unleash the power of the iron upon those unwanted creases. My Iron has 7 steam settings. Each for a specific clothing material. While I usually don’t use the settings (I leave it on 3 – dry) today, I was ironing my linen pants, and decided set my iron to steam setting 7: “Linen.”
The results were amazing! These pants are perfectly flat! Are there any other miracle appliances that I should know about?
Washing machine, dishwasher, and vacuum come to mind….
Blender, coffee maker, microwave…
I find it comical that Alica’s suggestions all have to do with cleaning things, and Becky’s suggestions all have to do with food. I don’t think that this really means anything, just an observation.
But, regarding your suggestions: I totally want one of those Dyson vacuums. those are so hip. If I ever get one, you can be sure there will be a journal entry dedicated to it. I actually do own a blender, and I use it to whip up my chocolate milk to make it all frothy. but… that’s been the extent of its use thus-far.
Question for Becky: would you mind if I put a link to your blog on mikedidonato.com?
You must get the Dyson. It’s like vacuuming heaven!
For those of you who don’t know, the Dyson is the Ken Jennings of vacuum machines. It’s a pricey beast though. Upwards of 3 or 4 hundred dollars. So start saving now. Mykal and tom got one awhile back. It snaps together and apart excessively easily, allowing for any part to be cleaned with ease. It also doesn’t use bags and has a super handy flip release for the guck and grime that it pulls off the floor. not only that, it comes in flashy colors!
Think about it Mike it’s $400 worth of motivation for cleaning, you wouldn’t want to spend all that money and not vacuum now would you?
